Portraying an English Military during the Reign of Queen Elizabeth

Welcome to the home of the English Militia as portrayed by the Guild of Saint Michael-Bristol! Our aim is to present the impression of a militia of England prior to the onset of the first Spanish Armada. We are mostly pikemen, but do have a small contingent of shot and artillery. Our main place of interaction is at the Bristol Renaissance Faire in Kenosha, WI; however, we also do presentations and demonstrations at other faires, schools, and community events. Please browse our pages here to find out more about what we do, how to join, the history of our group, and more!
